Our Purpose

We encourage voters to stop choosing representatives along party lines. Democracy only works when an informed populace chooses the most skilled legislators, but that doesn't happen when people vote based on who has the D or R by their name. In summary, we want you to pick the most qualified candidates based on issues that you think are important regardless of party affiliation. We elect representatives and our choice should not be artificially constrained to members of political parties.

What's wrong with political parties?

Political parties are the primary vehicle used by special interests to distort the democratic process. They give legitimacy to extremists. They spit on the rule of law as they protect members from the legal consequences of their actions. They give us poor candidates and restrict our choices. Political parties have placed our democracy in peril.

US news is propaganda

People just want to know what's going on in the world around them.

News companies should meet this demand by delivering the most innovative and informative news services. Instead these media conglomerates force your legislators to do their bidding through targeted advertising and political smear campaigns. These unstoppable economic Goliaths have subverted our democracy for decades.

But I have an idea.

Do you want to know what hundreds of organizations, millions of people, and billions of dollars in their coffers cannot defeat? The integrity of one individual holding a protest sign on a street corner and if everyone picks up a sign then we are unstoppable.

These seditious enemies of our democracy will lose and the American public will prevail.

Leviathan has awoken.

What exactly do you mean by voting independent?

Vote for candidates based on their own words and deeds, not their political party memberships and not what others say about them.

The numbers on individual voters

According to USAFacts:

Of registered voters, 45% have declared a party affiliation. As of August 2025, 37.4 million voters are registered Republicans and 44.1 million are registered Democrats.

The important thing to notice is that this means 55% are Independent voters! The idea that our system locks us into a two-party system is an illusion to perpetuate political parties and make your vote more predictable for those who want to manipulate it.

The case for independent voting

We've been told for decades that it's pointless to vote outside of the two parties because you would be wasting your vote on a candidate that could never win. This is an illusion. It's like an adult elephant who has been tied to a stake with a small rope since it was young and is conditioned to believe it cannot break the rope when it easily could. It's an integral part of the propaganda machine and we can break it.

America breaks this cycle by voting independent while the nerds in our legislature figure out a long-term solution. We have places that are effectively one-party states and they should have a choice.

We no longer have to be chained to the two-party system because we can have a zero-party system the way that our founding fathers intended.

A peaceful protest

The current political chaos has created a very rare opportunity for meaningful change to our democracy.

The last time we saw such an opportunity was with Occupy Wall Street, but it was squandered by extremists and soon lost. We seek to prevent this outcome. This is not a movement for violent extremists. They had their time in the spotlight and now it's time for mainstream America to get us back on course.

For those who can play nice with others you are welcome to join us in peaceful protest.

In summary

There are powerful players who will undoubtedly launch a smear campaign against us. I invite you to read our site and make up your own mind. Don't let propaganda make your decisions for you.

Well, it's time for me to stand on a corner holding a sign. If enough people join me, I'll start bringing a cooler and drinks. Hopefully we don't run out of conversation topics.
