A message to the General Public

Greetings to my friends and enemies in the general public. I’m becoming increasingly irritated with our current political climate. Recent events have concerned me to such a degree that I decided to launch this project earlier than originally intended. Lunatics are distorting our democratic process in ways that could undo the work our founding fathers did over three centuries ago.

Not on my watch.

The organizations we trust to deliver news and accurate information publish mostly propaganda. They do this because it's profitable. It also has a side effect of destabilizing our democracy. They legitimized MAGA and Antifa extremists who care more about their petty causes than the democracy that lets them say it in the first place. It’s time for the Independent voter and voice of reason to step in.

The American spirit endures.

I humbly ask that you forgive political grievances you have with others. We’ve all suffered from the corruption deeply rooted within federal agencies and the resulting populist backlash. Some of you have suffered more than others. Some of you have lost loved ones. I offer my sincere condolences to you and ask only that you make a sincere effort. If you cannot forgive, I understand. I’m not a religious man, but I will sincerely pray with you for peace because I believe that God listens to the sincere prayers of sinners and saints.

I don’t like calls to action because you are not my personal army. I apologize for this minor insult. Peaceful and open dialogue will be critical to our success moving forward.

Take a leap of faith with me and start from the basic assumption that people usually act with good intent. Do not place your trust in this because scammers will use it against you, but most people try to do the right thing most of the time. It doesn’t imply that their actions are actually good, just that they were trying to do good. We don’t live in a world of cartoon villainy like the media would have us believe. You are a coin block in a Mario Bros game that they poke with a cattle prod to make gold coins pop out.

Government officials and representatives do their best to support you despite the presence of a few who belong in federal prison. Their time is short.

Your fellow Americans generally have good intentions.
Your representatives generally have good intentions.
Your president generally has good intentions.
Your judges generally have good intentions.
Your police generally have good intentions.

Just try to give them a break if they are moving in the right direction and honestly trying to do the right things. Punish severely, those who act with malice.

The Republican Party (GOP) and Democratic Party (DNC) are in competition for your votes. Each party is trying to attract as many voters as possible. Republican and Democratic voters are not part of their war. Political parties should not be using members as their own personal army.

Organizations have been weaponizing people in parties to attack members of opposing factions. They transform the GOP and DNC into megaphones that amplify non-stop rhetoric in a 24-hour news cycle and incite the public to violence.

The market solution to this is simple. We make propaganda production unprofitable by rating the content and punish the organizations that produce it appropriately.

Corporate CEOs must do what is most profitable or be fired by shareholders. This mandate applies whether an action is morally right or wrong. The media market of today will disappear and be replaced by systems free of propaganda. Fail to adapt now, and your company won’t be worth talking about in 10 years. The important takeaway here is that your current business model is done, and you cannot stop it. I have little patience for those who will inevitably try to push back.

Online news sources have lost all credibility in the US. The general public regards news and other content as equivalent. I will do the same here. I’ve found the following practices helpful to keep things in perspective.

I don't want to silence anyone. I simply want these organizations to stop attacking our beautiful democracy. I want organizations to be accountable to the public for the harm that they cause. In economics we call these externalities.

How about putting a "Report Propaganda" button in YouTube. Your so-called "news" partners will hate it and push back. I guarantee that shareholders will hate it a lot more when I start pushing to repeal your protections in Section 230 and make your company personally liable for the content people upload.

I would strongly consider going far above this because I'm fairly sure I could calculate a plan to take around $300 billion out of your corporate hide permanently if I get the notion.

It looks REAL suspicious when YouTube videos are almost 100% propaganda and you aggressively push options like Autoplay and Shorts to automatically feed your videos. The $1 million donation to Trump's inaugural fund doesn't help here either. I sure hope you haven't been collaborating with him and Forbes to spread propaganda. For your sake.

Recent advances in AI could help too. AI can already analyze and summarize videos with a transcript of each line. We can train an AI to calculate a propaganda score and store it in a database by source and author. Running it on all major news published in the last 10 years should give us a pretty good idea of whom we can trust. This aggregated score becomes Integrity. Sources and authors with low integrity will not survive. The market will plow them under.

It works kind of like spam filtering, but with propaganda.

I don't think it is controversial to say the ignorance of the general public is causing problems. The bottom line is we need objective sources of unbiased news and information. If you look for unbiased politics on YouTube, you will find something good. You need to start from a foundation of facts before you can intelligently consume opinion pieces.

We can and should invent better information delivery systems and hold them in the public trust. We trusted private entities to fill our information needs, and they betrayed us. A reliable information source is too important not to have oversight. We can choose the most reliable news sources and shoulder out these con men and con women.

We need to put a stop to the garbage people throw on Youtube. Oh wait, here's an idea:

Content authors: Think about what you are doing. When you put out inflammatory clickbait nonsense, you are urinating on your fellow Americans to earn a dime. Stop doing that.

Mouthpieces for hire: If you are putting this content out for someone else, it's your brand that suffers. If you've been spewing inflammatory political propaganda for cash, it's going to look really bad and you should probably start looking for an attorney seeing as how people are dying and stuff.

If you produce junk, I will embarrass you. I'm not sure what will happen if you produce a lot of junk. Hopefully, none of us have to find out.

Stop labeling people as "liberal" and "conservative". I do not give you permission to put me into a group. I reject all labels and groups that I do not choose for myself.

Here's the problem. If I call myself or someone else an anarchist, the concept in my mind will be much different from theirs. We've already failed to properly communicate and it just gets worse from here.

It’s better to say someone has progressive values to avoid making things personal, but this isn’t really great either. I know lots of people with progressive values who love their guns and others who want them banned. I know people with conservative values who want legal abortion and others who don’t. You can’t reduce people to a label.

If you absolutely need to go on a witch hunt, I understand. We can start by throwing actual crooks out of our government.

I will not accept cronies in my government. Sycophants in the Executive branch will have their reckoning soon. The GOP can choose to indict these crooks now or we can do this the hard way at the ballot box. I recommend that they take this very seriously if they don't want to get trounced in the midterms.

The GOP lets these internal party criminal factions run amok because they are in the same party. I’m not an attorney, but it sure seems like the people have a federal RICO case to me. I request that the people’s attorney kindly remove her head from her butt because I’m about to put a boot in it.

Prosecute these criminals because it sure looks like you’re collaborating with them at the moment. This coup will fail and their collaborators will spend the rest of their lives in federal prison because I'm pretty sure MAGA is susceptible to federal RICO charges. The real twist will be when the people yeet the old order along with them.

We can finally have a real democracy by and for the people instead of plutocrats. It's going to take a unified public with no party affiliations.

And I do not care how much money or influence those organizations have. The money that gives them power ultimately chains them.

A simple example is the 2025 government shutdown. It hasn’t happened yet, but it will. The DNC will block spending bills because its polling data says that it benefits its election outcomes. Wounding our country as a form of protest isn’t the right answer. One can easily execute a plan to pluck these torpedoes, spin them 180 degrees, and drop them back into the water.

A single person using the power of the DNC organization has arbitrary control over whether or not our government has funds to continue operating. This is not even close to what our founding fathers intended. If you believe in the Constitution, then I hope you have the wisdom to see how badly this distorts Article I.

The DNC is like a giant funnel that takes social causes you care about, weaponizes them against their political enemies, and then hands your tax dollars to reward their unaccountable donor organizations. The people get the short end of the stick yet again.

The GOP isn't any better. The executive runs amok and his cronies in Congress back him up because he's in the same party. The system is so corrupt that it literally allows a felon to be president in a country where a misdemeanor likely affects your ability to get a simple security clearance.

What this market needs is more competition. The DNC and GOP have created enormous hurdles for a new political party. This is not the way. The real solution is to vote for candidates independently. Vote for people who aren't bound to other masters.

The DNC and GOP are outright criminal organizations at this point. The criminals in these organization are rarely prosecuted and when they are, a crony president will just pardon them later. Let's take away their shields and see who our representatives serve.

Do not fall victim to these mobsters, their cargo cults, and their idiot followers.

Political parties never served the people, and they never will. They exist so that powerful players can circumvent the will of the people. It’s an aristocracy, with extra steps. These plutocrats are leading us to corruption and ruin just as they have done with every other government in all of history.

Just let that sink in for a moment. Elites have destroyed every single society. If you’re looking for a technocrat solution, you’re barking up the wrong tree. I will never recognize sovereignty in a machine intelligence, because they cannot have the right to rule.

We have the power to vote independently. We don't need to accept their narrative of a two-party system because we have the votes. We have the power to make a zero-party democracy and have the democracy that our founding fathers truly envisioned. Nothing changes unless you change how you act at the ballot box.

Let's put an end to the Second Civil War.
The two-party myth is an illusion that enslaves you.
Fifty-five percent of voters are Independent.
Independent voters have the real power in our democracy, not the political parties.

Thank you to the general public for hanging out with me. I genuinely appreciate your time. I really mean it, I do not deal in empty platitudes. It is my sincere hope that I can now call all of you friends. If not, that's ok too.

We may not see eye to eye on everything and that's ok. I hope at the very minimum we can learn to respect one another and be the America we want it to be. An America represented by people like us instead of extremist parties.
