The Rule of Law
The Rule of Law
This is our guiding principle that the law is applied equally to everyone whether they're a waiter or a senator. What we get instead is an America where some people are more equal than others as we've recently seen with the Epstein coverup. Instead of answers we get political theater while politicians try to figure out how to make it look like they're working on it with no intention to deliver.
Both political parties have maliciously prosecuted, not prosecuted when they should have, and let their buddies walk cough Epstein and it frankly embarrasses me that our distinguished representatives show less integrity than common criminals. The guy who robs you at gunpoint is at least being honest even if I'm glad that they go to jail. I think a bunch of our politicians' rich pals need to join our gunman for a while. Probably a few politicians too. I sure wish I had immunity from the law. Oh wait, I don't wish for that because I actually have respect for the rule of law unlike our elected representatives.
Even in the unlikely event someone is actually punished for their crimes, the president just gives them a pardon on the way out anyway. At least we hope it was the president in the last administration that actually issued the pardons. We're not really sure. If we had an actual news system with actual reporters with integrity instead of a paid propaganda network we might know the truth.
Don't worry, we'll get rid of political parties so that crooks cannot hide behind their party. A reckoning is at hand.
