A Tyranny by Corporate Media
I think the biggest sin of corporations is looking at people like resources. Whether it's their employees, or the customers they exploit. People are not resources they are human beings with independent agency. You can own resources and make them attractive to humans, but you cannot own human beings.

A tyranny by oligopoly through mass media
This is a bold title, no pun intended.
We are in tyranny and not the Democracy that we learned in school.
It is a manufactured reality brought to you by the same corporations that broadcast the evening news our entire lives.
They were the arbiters of everything we saw and heard for decades.
Ensuring that only their corporate-approved messaging delivered by their companies reached American households.
It is a pay-for-play system.
If you wanted to reach American households, you needed money. Lots of it.
The players in this market are wealthy organizations, private companies, institutions, and individuals.
They promote information favorable to themselves and their advertisers.
They suppress information that is unfavorable.
This includes public policy legislation with devastating consequences for the people.
Public policy is rigged to favor the rich.
When we strip out media propaganda and examine our laws, they are tyranny.
When we examine the actions of Congress, it regards the general public as a nuisance that interferes with their racketeering schemes.
But then why doesn't it feel like tyranny?
That is a very interesting question and one worth exploring.
There is a way out through Independent Media creators.
We can break the Corporate Media oligopoly.
Social Media platforms let Independent Creators reach millions of viewers.
The Internet made possible what was not possible with broadcast television.
Now that everyone is online, we don't need broadcast television.
The impact of Independent Media was proven over the last several years.
Individual people finally have a voice and it moves elections.
Corporate Media will not tell you this, because Independent Media is competition.
Independent creators say bad things about companies that cannot be suppressed with corporate advertising.
Wealth cannot buy off every Independent creator. The ones they do will be exposed as propagandists and their professional reputations ruined.
There is no grand conspiracy.
Just corporations operating on their own perverse profit motives.
And wealthy entities exploit their lack of integrity to its fullest.
Independent creators tell you the news that corporations refuse to tell you.
A fair media market is bad for business when you're accustomed to benefits from a rigged system.
A fair media market is very good for the American Public because it protects us from this corruption.
Corporate Media will try to end Independent Media through lawfare by making it unprofitable to host Independent Media content.
They will tell you that we have to stop it for the sake of the children.
It is propaganda. Recognize it for what it is.
Should they succeed, then we are forever chained to the whims of plutocrats.
I intend to see them fail because our liberty depends on it.
Media Sections
There have been a ton of different names given to media over the years. Mass media, mainstream media, new media, social media, etc. Much better authors than I have written about media over the years. I haven't read them. I may link some when I find them if I think they explain it well.
I have distilled these into two main categories:
- Corporate Media: Content produced by corporations.
- Independent Media: Content produced by individual creators.
